I dont have a direct solution for the problems but updating to pebble os 3 seems to be a bit buggy... Try restoring/resetting your pebble in settings. Works perfectly for me.

Suggestions:
- Lower location usage (Ive got it disabled right now)
- Contacts app to voice message & call
- More customizable shortcuts
