Text display too small for me!

I Wish I had stayed with the older app. After installing this app the text display on my watch is now too small for me to read. I dont need to see a picture of a phone when someone calls. I only need to be able to read who is calling. The additional graphics on the screen now takes the room that previously was used for a larger display of text. The large text display option on this version is still smaller than the previous text display. Beware that once you install this app it upgrades your watch to firmware ver 3 and you can no longer use the old app version. Give us an option to use the old display format!

Bricked my pebble

I was updating and the bar never moved and basically bricked my pebble. Thanks pebble

Kills Phone Battery - Location On 100%

Love the new additions for my Pebble Classic, but no matter the watch face or app the location service is on 100% of the time. Im forced to disable location service for the Pebble phone app, which is very disappointing. Once the Pebble app is denied location service, my phones location service icon immediately turns off, indicating the Pebble app is certainly the culprit. Ive read through the support documents, unpaired, reset to factory defaults, reinstalled the app, .... Nothing has helped. What a bummer!

Bretty Gud.

Nice update. The additional animations and new look are, overall, quite aesthetically pleasing (even on my regular ole Pebble Steel!). Everything is snappy and stable thus far, and the cute little animations dont bog down the responsiveness of the interface. Great work, guys. Keep it up!

Unstable

Why do I have to keep updating to my watch every time I turn it on from off? So I have to keep the watch on 24/7? Come on be realistic

Dont Do It.

Dont migrate to this new app if you have the original Pebble app. 1. Switching between watchfaces is a huge pain 2. Callers names no longer show up, just their initials. Yes, seriously. I have gotten calls from "Dr. T. G." and "Mr. A. o H." 3. The onscreen font is tiny. Yes, both the font is smaller and they are abbreviating peoples names. There was plenty of room on the screen for full names before! But now, with the same size screen, names are only initials AND written so tiny. 4. Dismissing messages takes longer, because there is a "Dismissed!" animation every time you do. I would rather just have the message disappear then to have a "deleted" message accompany the action. 5. When I shutdown my watch for the night (also a huge pain to get through the menu to), now it is VERY hard to get it to wake back up. I have to try and try and I almost think its been bricked. Im doing a factory reset and downloading the old app again. I will hang onto that as long as I can. If it aint broke, dont fix it!

WOW - Mind Blown!

Really thought previous version was better than good - this version ROCKS! I have first gen (not kick starter) and its like I got a new Pebble... Thanks Pebble!!! P.S. - more than a watch...

Read if having issues

I dont have a direct solution for the problems but updating to pebble os 3 seems to be a bit buggy... Try restoring/resetting your pebble in settings. Works perfectly for me. Suggestions: - Lower location usage (Ive got it disabled right now) - Contacts app to voice message & call - More customizable shortcuts Using iPhone 6 on iOS 9.2 with Pebble Time and Classic

Garbage!

After upgrading, app shuts down as soon as it is launched. Reinstalled old app and it does the same. Running iPhone with AT&T.

I used to love this watch

....now every week seemingly there is a firmware update. The watch still crashes. Im done.

Bluetooth connection

I have no issues with the new format, though the pictures do seem a little unnecessary and I would like larger text. My main issue, however, is that my watch says it is not connected to the phone if the app is not open. It says that it is in settings in both my watch and phone, yet the phone icon says it isnt and a lot of my watch faces inver colors which is quite frustrating. To have the app constantly open without my phone charging would kill my battery in a few hours. The sooner this is fixed, the better.

Untapped potential:(

Please bring ios replies to tmobile and other carriers!!!

Not bad

So far I like it. But there are a couple things I have noticed. 1. My watch says "no Bluetooth" yet, I still get texts and calls 2. Wont allow me to change the picture of my face watch.

App doesnt respect notification settings

I dont wear my pebble every day and turn off bluetooth when not using bluetooth devices. The app keeps popping up alert type notifications that tell me bluetooth is off. I disabled the apps notifications in the settings app, and the alerts continue.

Changing watch faces STINKS

WHY WHY WHY would you make it multi step to change my watch face?!? This is terrible. I want to go back and update it

Bricked my Pebble-dont install!!

Endless loop telling me I have to put watch in recovery mode. After 13 loops, I gave up and had to throw the watch away.

Needs to be updated and fixed!

With the old version of the app my watch would rarely ever disconnect, but with this new version it literally disconnects all the time and its getting very annoying. The only thing thats good about the new app is that it put all your apps and watch faces directly on your watch but, you cant even you them cause they require your watch to be connected! Also its nearly impossible to reconnect you watch after its disconnected. Also if you go to your bluetooth settings on your phone and "connect" the watch and it says its connected on your phone it says the exact opposite on the watch which makes no sense! So overall its not that great of an upgrade but really could be if they improve these mistakes.

Bad update for classic pebble

Same as some other reviewers, after the update, my classic pebble is now stuck at firmware update mode forever. Tried many times and resets and the pebble got back to a screen showing a picture with a finger touching on a phone and a text like "pebble.com/app". The watch is useless now. 4/22/2016 update: Just recovered my watch. Forgot all Pebble bluetooth connections on iphone first, then press the up, back and select buttons on the watch at the same time until the watch resets to the Pebble logo to enter into recovery mode, then run the Pebble app in iphone and it will re-download the firmware to the watch, then follow the instructions to pair with the watch and reconfigure it. Vola, it works again.

Pairing

Pairing with this watch is the definition of frustration. It works sometimes and sometimes it does not work.

Stuck in a reset loop

I got my phone replaced yesterday. I then restored from an iCloud backup and now I cant actually use my pebble anymore because its stuck in a reset loop and none of the troubleshooting steps I can find seem to get it past there. Ill change my review if I can figure it out but currently my pebble is a chargeable paper-weight :-/
